Activities

Mt Stirling’s natural beauty provides the perfect backdrop to experience the wonders of cross country skiing, snow camping, tobogganing, snowboarding and snow shoeing. As a true winter adventure playground, Mt Stirling has something to offer everyone - from school groups and families, to naturists and outdoor enthusiasts.

With an average snow fall of 99cms, the mountain has more than 68km of maintained trails, 35km of which are groomed. These trails run through beautiful sheltered forests of Alpine Ash on the lower slopes and rise through towering Snow Gum forests on the open areas of the Summit.
