Ski Patrol
Mt Stirling is monitored by an experienced Ski Patrol team, who ensure the comfort and safety of all mountain visitors. Throughout the winter season, Ski Patrol oversees all activity on Mt Stirling’s trails and camping grounds between 8am – 5pm. All day visitors to the mountain must be back at Telephone Box Junction by the time the patrollers finish. To contact Ski Patrol, call 0409 945 901 or 03 5777 6532.
In case of an emergency situation, Ski Patrol is equipped to administer advanced First Aid and is able to evacuate injured people as required. Patrollers also check trail conditions and assist skiers and boarders looking for information about the weather and directions.
Patrollers are easily identified by their red and black uniforms that feature a white cross on the sleeves, and they are happy to answer any questions you may have about the mountain.
