Ready for the long weekend

MT STIRLING OFFICIALLY CELEBRATES THE ‘OPENING’ WEEKEND

After an early jump on 1 June the crew at Mt Stirling are getting into the official winter groove from 8 June for the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend with all the usual activities.

Shelly and Annie are ready to froth milk and serve warm muffins to keep frosty visitors warm and happy at the Stirling Café which is open all weekend.  The fire will be crackling and the hot chocolates are huge. Word on the street is the jam donuts are warm and perfect for fuelling up snowshoeing legs!

Stirling Experience has you covered for ski hire, toboggans, snow shoes and all you need for XC adventures.  Chat to Craig who knows everything you might need to get up to date on before heading out to explore the trails.

The Ski Patrol update into the weekend confirms that the snow is holding up really well thanks to some cold nights this week and they are groomed beautifully.  Talk to Ski Patrol if you plan to venture up to Stanley Bowl and they can give you the latest condition reports.

Fancy a night under the stars?  There are beautiful places to pitch a tent and soak up the alpine magic.  Get advice on safe places to camp – not under the trees where branch fall can be an issue!

Exploring?  Fill in an intentions form at TBJ and chat to our dedicated ski patrollers for all the best local knowledge, up to date conditions and where the pick of the day might be!

  • Drop in to the Café which is open from 9am to 5pm
  • Ski hire is also open from 9am to 5pm offering rental toboggans, snowshoes and XC ski packages
  • SNOWPLAY is open at TBJ so come and get your slide on!
  • Ski Patrol are on deck and so are our visitor information team

From now on… we are GO!

If you plan to visit give Stirling Ski Patrol a call 0409 945 901 on between the hours of 8am – 5pm for up to date information and conditions.
